Small Moments, Luminous Worlds...
Approach
My work begins in the fleeting moments when light turns the ordinary into something quietly radiant.
I’m drawn to scenes that drift past unnoticed — a shifting reflection, a brief glow on a shoreline, the hush that gathers at dusk — where colour deepens, texture breathes, and subtle patterns rise and fade like a pulse...
Through small‑scale acrylic paintings and photographic studies, I follow these subtle movements of light, distilling not the scene itself, but the feeling it leaves behind.
Across both mediums, I return to the same thread: the extraordinary held gently inside the everyday.
My work is an invitation to pause, to look again, and to enter these small, radiant spaces with attention and openness...

Memory as Landscape /Big Bay Beach (2025)
Acrylic on Canvas
“Some colours don’t describe a place — they remember it.... And here, the sky remembers everything: the salt‑soft mornings, the long horizon where ships linger like unspoken thoughts, the walkers stitched into the sand. Table Mountain-in its quiet certainty, holding the weight of all the light that has ever touched it. This is not a moment captured — it is a place returning to itself through colour." (myFITM)
